Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival, celebrating international rare films and decades of cinema history, takes place in Bologna, Italia, from June 23 to July 1st.
The team of our Film Heritage & Post-Production lab will be at the event from next tuesday to present 2 films we restored :
Voyage Au Congo (Marc Allégret, 1927), restored for Les Films du Jeudi, screened on tuesday 26th at 6:15pm.
Les Statues Meurent Aussi (Chris Marker and Alain Resnais, 1953), restored for Présence Africaine, screened on wednesday 17th at 2:15pm.
