The 75th Venice International Film Festival, one of the main cinema event of the year, is taking place from August 29th to Septembre 8th 2018. The program is very attractive this year, especially for the Classic Films Selection. Our lab worked on 2 movies of this section :
– Adieu Philippine, directed by Jacques Rozier (1962), restored in 4K for A17, with the collaboration of La Cinémathèque Française and Le CNC. Screened on Thursday, August 30 at 5:30pm.
– L’année dernière à Marienbad, directed by Alain Resnais (1961), restored in 4K for Studiocanal, with the collaboration of La Cinémathèque Française and Chanel. Screened on Wednesday, September 5 at 6pm.
In addition, our team collaborated on the post-production of 4 of the movies of the official competition, including Jacques Audiard’s The Sisters Brothers and the new film of László Nemes : Sunset. Be there on September 8th for the full list of winners !
