Given the rapid evolution of COVID-19 and the recent government announcements, Hiventy has made a number of decisions and we believe it is important to communicate these to you. Below, you will find our updated Business Continuity Plan which outlines the services we will be maintaining and those we have decided to suspend.
Hiventy is applying all necessary measures to guarantee the good health and safe working conditions of all employees involved.
IMAGE AND SOUND POST-PRODUCTION:
Our sites at Bastille, Boulogne-Billancourt and Joinville-le-Pont closed on Tuesday, March 17th and services including daily management, image and sound editing, conforming, ADR & folley recordings, colour grading and sound mixing are no longer available at these locations.
Our site at Angoulême is maintaining all activities and can take on requests for sound design, sound editing and mixing.
We also have remote solutions for the activities listed above with fully equipped staff working remotely. We would be happy to work on the possibility of punctual interventions to move forward with your projects.
FILM LAB AND DIGITAL RESTORATION:
Our Joinville-le-Pont site closed on Tuesday, March 17th and our film lab and digital restoration activities have been suspended at this location.
MASTERING AND DELIVERIES:
Our Malakoff site is maintaining its activities relating to digital logistics, mastering and servicing, ensuring deliveries to television channels and digital platforms.
DCP digital delivery, KDM/DKDM management, DVD/Blu-ray premastering, IMF packaging and master QC are all maintained.
LOCALIZATION:
Subtitling activities (including SDH) are maintained, except on-site validation sessions. Recording for dubbing works and voice overs in French has been suspended. Recording for audio descriptions is maintained by fully equipped staff working remotely. Similarly, we can guarantee punctual mixing services by staff working from home with all the required equipments.
All requests for dubbing in other languages will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the evolving health situation in targeted countries.
We are happy to work on any solution that might help with your production or delivery issues during this difficult period, while always guaranteeing the safety of all our employees.
