This year’s official film competition at the Venice Film Festival promises to be captivating, with fierce competition for the Golden Lion.
We’re thrilled to announce that our team collaborated on several of these films in post-production, showcasing our dedication to cinematic excellence.
“Jouer avec le feu” by Delphine and Muriel Coulin, a co-production of Felicita Films and Curiosa Films, features our image and sound editing expertise.
Film enthusiasts will also be excited about “April,” the latest project from Georgian director Dea Kulumbegashvili, who won the San Sebastian award in 2020 with her film “Au commencement”, also bearing the Cannes 2020 label. This remarkable film was shot, developed on film, and scanned in our laboratory in Joinville by our expert teams.
And finally, Walter Salles is back! Twelve years after his last film, “On the Road,” and 23 years after his previous selection at Venice, the acclaimed director returns with “I’m Still Here,” based on Marcelo Rubens Paiva’s best-selling memoirs about his mother, Eunice Paiva. Our team not only developed and scanned this feature film in our Joinville lab but also played a crucial role in its image post-production.
Who will take home the prestigious Golden Lion? We’ll have to wait until September 7 to find out.
